## [FrameGlide + Spin Browser](/products-services/frameglide-video-spin-browser-dial/)

Video-explorer system pairing time-lapse, high-speed, and other video archives with a physical dial controller that lets visitors navigate the footage by spinning. Live streaming capture (from camera or Internet image sources) is also supported, letting visitors explore continuously from the past right up to the present moment. Deployed at the New England Aquarium, Spirit of Ford (Ford Motor Company), COSI Columbus, MOSI Tampa, The Wild Center, California Science Center, Aquarium of the Pacific, Australian Sports Museum, Discovery Place Charlotte, The Mind Museum (Philippines), and many other museums worldwide. Commercial / non-public applications are presented at the spin-off site [www.TemporalInnovations.com](https://www.temporalinnovations.com).

## [Choreographed Fabric Banners ("Dancing Banners")](/products-services/dancing-banners/)

Large suspended fabric banners that perform computer-controlled choreographed dance routines. Used as theatrical environmental elements at corporate events, trade shows, and institutional venues in the USA and internationally, in contexts where high-tech visual drama is wanted.

## [Choreographed Iron Dust](/products-services/choreographed-iron-dust/)

Award-winning at the Museum of Science, Boston, this kinetic sculpture / performance piece has iron particles dancing under choreographed computerized electromagnetic control. The work has been described by reviewers as combining "ticklish charm and wacky inventiveness" (Boston Globe Magazine) and has been featured on CBS-affiliate broadcasts and in regional press. Installed in science, art, and children's museums in the USA and worldwide.

## [Power Distribution Exhibit (PDE)](/products-services/power-distribution/)

Hands-on educational exhibit making electricity concepts intuitive through interactive pathway-building. Praised by museum master-planning firm Hands On!, Inc. for combining science with creative, multi-sensory, open-ended exploration — addressing the high rate at which visitors get frustrated by, disengage from, or feel incompetent with traditional electricity-based exhibits.

## [Hotplate Magnetism Stations](/products-services/magnetic-hotplates/)

Interactive science exhibit stations that let visitors observe and explore magnetic field phenomena directly.

## [Custom Works](/products-services/custom-exhibits/)

Bespoke kinetic artworks and interactive exhibits designed for specific clients and venues. Examples include the athlete-silhouette mobile artwork for MIT's Howard W. Johnson Athletics Center; the AirPlay exhibit (a celebration of air-jet technology) at Boston Children's Museum; the "Connections: The Nature of Networks" power-grid simulation at the New York Hall of Science; and a hands-on disk-recording exhibit at the Boston Museum of Science.

## [Tools & Components](/products-services/tools-components/)

Engineering tools and components developed in-house at TechnoFrolics for use in its own exhibits, and offered for use in other projects.

## [Skills & Services](/products-services/skills-services/)

TechnoFrolics' professional capabilities — consulting, lecturing, design, fabrication, and documentation — drawn on by museums, science centers, art galleries, corporations, and event producers worldwide since the company's founding in 1988.
